Box Dumper
The Waldon Box Dumper Attachment is a hydraullically operated, completely automatic lift truck attachment that can dump the contents from any make, steel drop bottom box into hoppers, gondolas, “other boxes” or at a designated dumping area.
It has wide use in plants and factories where loads of parts casting, bulk material, scrap, trash, nuts and bolts, waste and sweepings have to be dumped from drop bottom boxes.
The Waldon Box Dumper mounts on any carriage of any lift truck–between the forks and permits the truck to be used for forking operations when not dumping boxes. Only one operator is needed to lift, move and dump boxes with this attachment. He fully controls the entire dumping operation from his seat, assuring complete dumping accuracy and eliminating the time-consuming, costly and sometimes hazardous by-hand method of handling. Dumping boxes with the Waldon Box Dumper gives you safer and more efficient results for dumping the materials. A single spool, double acting auxiliary control valve is required to operate the Waldon Box Dumper.

In operation, the lift truck approaches the box as the forks go under it. The angle on the dumper is automatically positioned beneath the angle on the box. To dump, the box is raised and the angles on the box and the dumper engage. Once the box is lifted to the required height, the operator manipulates the control which hydraulically activates the upward movement of the dumper angle, raising the box and leaving the bottom resting on the tips of the forks to form a chute for the contents being dumped.
